Right now China Tea Blog has no affiliate links, no sponsored posts and no advertising. When I mention a shop or a product, nobody pays me for it. Every tea and teaware item I review is bought with my own money unless an article says otherwise.

If that changes#

The site may join affiliate programmes with tea shops or teaware sellers in the future. If it does:

  • Every article that contains affiliate links will say so in a note at the top, before any link.
  • An affiliate link never changes the price you pay. The shop pays a small commission from its side.
  • Recommendations stay based on what I have bought, brewed and would buy again. A shop without an affiliate programme is still recommended if it is the better choice.
  • This page will list the programmes the site takes part in.

Free samples and gifts#

If a shop ever sends me tea or teaware for free, the article that covers it will say so clearly.
